exercise programConsistent weekly exercise is important to your long term weight loss success. Your exercise plan includes a cardiovascular warm up and a series of different conditioning exercises designed to help you build muscle while burning fat. As you build muscle mass, your body will become more efficient at burning fat. Muscle is where most of the mitochondria ("fat-burning furnaces") are in the body. That muscle mass may cause an offset or slow down in your total pounds lost, but your body will get smaller. The same amount of fat takes up much more space than an equivalent amount of muscle, but you'll have a higher level of metabolism, meaning you'll burn more calories even when you're relaxing.

It's important to keep in mind that the most effective workout program is the one you complete.


We know that starting a new exercise routine can be challenging, so we’ve provided the resources you need on From your "My Profile" section you can log in with your username and password to access your weekly exercise plan description along with a series of instructional videos. The videos are easy to follow and will teach you the correct technique for each exercise.

Your exercise plan consists of 3 different programs broken into three different 4-week phases: Start Up, Intermediate and Advanced.

Start Up is a 3 or 4 day per week program (depending on your level: A or B) created to allow people who are out of shape or just getting started to get active to start seeing results fast. Incorporating both resistance training and cardio, each day is slightly different than the one before it, ensuring you never plateau and your body keeps making serious and consistent progress.


After the Start Up program, you can progress to the Intermediate (12 weeks) and then Advanced (12 weeks) program if you choose.

If you've got some workout knowledge but have recently fallen out of shape, or your have completed the Start Up program, Intermediate is just what you need. It's a 4 or 5 day per week program designed to accompany your GenoVive diet plan to encourage a higher rate of weight loss, and a more toned, defined physique. Including both cardio and resistance training, each day slightly changes, you can rest assured that every part of your body will get ample attention to get you looking fit in no time.


Are you a workout veteran, but you're looking for that extra push? Look no further. Advanced is designed specifically for the experienced exerciser. It's an intense 5or 6 day per week program designed to work in conjunction with your GenoVive diet plan to increase fat loss and truly refine your physique, leading to a toned, defined body you can be proud of. We include both cardio and resistance training, and each day of your program is slightly different than the one before it to ensure you keep making as much progress as possible.  Click here to view a sample 1-day routine.
